I design technology that respects the people using it.

I'm Eron, a product designer based in Los Angeles. I've worked on product and brand projects across a range of clients, in a mix of startups and in-house teams — everything from design systems and internal tools to mobile apps to brand identity.

I care about technology that respects the people using it. A lot of products today are designed to demand attention, where engagement is the primary metric for a product or service's success. That's certainly an important factor, but I think it's a less helpful framework for how we should craft things. A better litmus test is: does what I am making respect whom I am making it for? Do the tools and experiences I design for humans lead to human flourishing and enablement, or am I hindering that process with less considered design decisions? I'm interested in design that earns its place, gives more than it takes, and stays out of the way when it's not needed. That's become the through-line for how I interact with and design technology.

Lately I've been spending more time at the seam between design and engineering. The design landscape is constantly changing, and now faster than ever with the affordances of AI. Using tools like Claude and Cursor, and integrating them into my design workflow, has changed my approach to making things and opened up levels of exploration I never had access to before. It's boosted my capability, and more importantly my understanding of how things are actually built which has made me a better collaborator. But new tools come with new responsibility, and they've also challenged the way I think about upholding design integrity.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me exploring new cities, sketching ideas, or thinking about plants. Beach volleyball has become a life rhythm for me, along with ultimate frisbee and as much time outside as SoCal allows. I follow Tottenham, the Cavs, and Ohio State football closely enough that my mood on a given Saturday is sometimes not my own. I love the LA food scene and the craft of cooking at home. Film is one of my favorite art mediums. Anything Studio Ghibli, any work of Dennis Villanueva, and of course, the LOTR trilogy are staples I keep coming back to. And I love to read — C.S. Lewis, N.T. Wright, John Mark Comer, the Ender's Game, and the Dune series are all in heavy rotation.
